Hello and welcome to South Carolina Explorer!
My name is Adam McConnaughhay, Columbia, South Carolina born and raised. After graduating the College of Charleston and a decade abroad in Cartagena, Colombia (be sure to check out CartagenaExplorer.com by the way!), the country with an O not a U, I recently returned home to that city with a U, and have begun work on this site as a resource for residents and visitors to the Palmetto State!
South Carolina Explorer is still very much a work in progress, but I hope to continue to dedicate more time to share practical guides and tips on travel to South Carolina based on my and my family’s own personal experiences.
